Shehjaar Children’s film festival: A four day mega event took place in the heart of Srinagar city in November 2006. The event was first if its kind in the valley which was organized by the Foundation in collaboration with RGF, New Delhi. The purpose of the festival was to make children of the valley aware about various issues confronting children and how the resilience and fortitude of children overcome their hurdles. About 10000 children from almost every school of the valley witnessed the event with a great zeal.
